Duke , which will build, own and operate the facility, has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement with utility Delaware Municipal Electric. More than 20,000 homes will obtain power from the wind farm.

Laurel Hill will be Duke Energy Renewables’ second wind farm in Pennsylvania. It owns and operates the 70MW North Allegheny facility roughly 153km east of Pittsburgh.

Laurel Hill is the third new wind farm announced by Duke Energy Renewables this year.
