The project, off the north-east coast of Jeju Island, is expected to cost around 250 billion won ($234m).
Doosan signed a memorandum of understanding with partners Posco ICT and a subsidiary of the state-owned utility Kepco last week.
It plans to start construction of the wind farm this month and complete it in 2014.
Korea's tenth-largest conglomerate by assets, Doosan is the country's biggest power-plant builder but with limited growth in traditional power plants it is keen to establish business in the renewable sector.
