According to a memorandum of understanding signed this week, Doosan will supply turbines for wind projects that state-run Kepco will bid for in undisclosed markets outside of South Korea.
Doosan will likely provide Kepco with its 3MW machines, which feature 65.5-metre blades and a rotor diameter of 134 metres and can be deployed on- and offshore.
The Changwon-based manufacturer is currently developing 207MW of wind capacity, according to an online statement.
