Charles Nordstrom heads the US team for BVG Associates, the international renewables consultancy. Nordstrom has wide experience of the US market, particularly offshore wind, and is an expert in floating technologies.
He worked on the Pelastar floating foundation project and was asked to attend the National Offshore Wind Strategy Workshop hosted by the US Department of Energy in December.
Nordstrom spoke to Recharge about the state of play in US offshore wind as it enters an exciting phase of development, with the first foundations in the water at Block Island and European pacesetter Dong Energy entering the market.
