The Danish energy giant has hired JP Morgan to look into a possible E&P split-off, Bloomberg claimed.

E&P and Wind Power sit alongside Thermal Power and Dong’s distribution and sales business in the Danish company’s business portfolio.

The oil and gas unit accounted for 52% of Dong’s operating profit (Ebitda) in 2014, with wind power bringing in 37%.
