The sheer numbers in itself are also telling: 35,000 trade visitors from 48 nations met 1,400 exhibitors that filled an amazing nine massive halls; the fair was truly international, with only little more than 40% of visitors and exhibitors coming from Germany itself.
An enthusiastic Hamburg Messe CEO Bernd Aufderheide points out that extensive business was done at the expo and he is right that this will make the international wind market “grow by a great many megawatts in the follow-up.”
