The 160-megawatt (MW) wind farm has reportedly been inoperative since 28 May.
Owned jointly by Vattenfall and Dong, and using Vestas V80-2MW turbines, the project supplies as much as 2% of Denmark’s electricity requirements.
A spokeswoman at Vattenfall, which holds a 60% stake in the project, says the two companies are scrambling to source the parts to fix the 34-kilovolt offshore substation.
