The Danish Energy Agency (DEA) published the main details of the tender, which offers six zones for potential development off the country’s coast, with operation starting by 2020.
Five of the zones could host a maximum of 200MW, with the sixth containing up to 50MW.
The near-shore tender was cut by 100MW to 350MW under a cross-party deal hammered out by Danish politicians last September.
