The vessel, which will be delivered in the second quarter of 2017, will be first deployed installing array cables on the 396MW Merkur offshore wind farm, 45km north of Borkum island in the German North Sea.
Living Stone will also work on cable installation on Dong Energy’s 1.2GW Hornsea 1 project off eastern England.
The vessel is equipped with two turntables below deck, each having 5000 tonne cable carrying capacity.
