Lars Løkke Rasmussen is set to become Denmark's Prime Minister after the four-party blue bloc – made up of his own party Venstre, the Danish People's Party, the Liberal Alliance and the Conservatives – took power from the incumbent centre-left red coalition.
Although the new government's detailed attitude towards the Danish wind industry remains to be seen, pre-election rhetoric from blue bloc parties hints at a desire to scale back of subsidies to support renewables.
