CS Wind will serve the offshore market from Machrihanish, Argyll, after buying an 80% stake in Wind Towers Scotland (WTS).
The purchase from previous owner SSE marks the entry of CS Wind to the UK. The company said last year it was looking at sites in the Humber region of northern England.
The South Korean group will expand the scope of the existing WTS operation, which produces onshore tower and provides maintenance services to the wind sector, according to a statement from SSE announcing the sale.
