Plans to reduce feed-in tariffs (FITs) for utility-scale PV by up to 31% and distributed projects by up to 52% from 2017 began circulating in the Chinese media yesterday, apparently quoting the country’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

Onshore and offshore wind tariff reductions of up to 6.8% and 7% compared to the levels originally planned for 2018 were also the subject of reports, again quoting the NDRC.
