Sany said India will become its second wind manufacturing centre outside China, as part of a wider plan to invest $3bn in developing 2GW of wind projects there over the next five years.
The construction equipment group – one of China’s largest private companies – announced a year ago that it has big ambitions in India, which has a target to reach 60GW of wind by 2022.
