This is the first sale to Africa for Goldwind, China’s second largest turbine manufacturer and the world’s seventh largest in 2009, and the second export deal by a Chinese turbine maker in recent weeks. China’s third largest turbine manufacturer Dongfang announced a 249MW deal to export turbines to India in December.
Goldwind will supply the turbines to HydroChina International Engineeering for wind farm projects in Adama, Ethiopia.
