Shanghai-based Envision, which claims to be China’s second largest wind turbine maker, already has two offices in the US – a Global Digital Innovation Lab in Silicon Valley and a Digital Energy Research Center in Houston, Texas.
The Global Blade Innovation Center in Colorado will focus on blade design, an area upon which Envision says it is placing a “special emphasis”.
