Speaking in China, president of the EU Chamber of Commerce Joerg Wuttke said: “As we understand it, European business and all the foreign businesses are out of the race.” He was referring to “national-level concession projects” like the 10-gigawatt (GW) wind farm project in Gansu in northwest China.
In 2008, China’s National Energy Administration selected six locations from the provinces with the best wind resources: Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Hebei and Jiangsu.
