China could displace US as offshore wind next-mover – Siemens boss

The cancellation of power purchase agreements (PPAs) for the 364MW Cape Wind project could set back US offshore wind ambitions for several years, and the country may have lost its next-mover advantage in the sector to China, said Siemens Wind CEO Markus Tacke.
