According to Chile's energy minister, Máximo Pacheco, the fund, known as CORFO, has already listed an initial 51 projects including 15 wind, 15, small hydro, 12 solar, seven biomass, one hybrid and one transmission line project.
“We want to add new renewable energy sources to our power matrix and we want this happen through the inclusion of new agents. There is room for players of different sizes and technologies,” he said.
