The projects will expand existing complexes and will require estimated investments of R$450m ($179.9m)
The company sold power from Ventos do Santo Estevão in the northeastern state of Pernambuco, and from Ventos de São Virgílio 1 and 3 and Ventos de Santo Onofre 4 in the state of Piauí, also in the northeast.
In fact, the new projects are located in the same geographical region of Chapada do Araripe, a mountain range that cuts across both states and where the company is developing projects it sold at the A-5 auction in 2013.
