“We are thrilled that a global industrial company of (Hyundai’s) stature has chosen AAER as a supplier as they enter the wind energy space," said Dave Gagnon, the Canadian company’s chief exectuive said."

The company said the A-1650 turbine is scheduled for delivery to Korea during the second quarter of 2009. The new contract did not include blades and tower. Those components will be sourced directly by Hyundai, the company said.
