Christiana Figueres, outgoing UN climate change chief, said if the UK does proceed to EU withdrawal the latter may have to look again at its Intended Nationally Determined Contribution (INDC) under the COP21 process “and maybe make some adjustments to that – maybe”.
Figueres told the Business & Climate Summit in London: “there is going to be a period of uncertainty, transition and volatility” likely to last for at least two years.
