Broadwind, whose chief executive Peter Duprey resigned unexpectedly in December, says it expects to report an operating loss of $11m for the fourth quarter of 2015, more than double its prior guidance of a $4m-$5m loss.
The troubled Chicago-based company now believes its fourth-quarter revenues came in around $38m, compared to guidance of $44m-$45m.
The situation mirrors last year, when Broadwind in January warned that its revenue and losses in the final quarter of its fiscal would be worse than expected – blaming issues at its facility in Abilene, Texas for the shortfall.
