In all, Broadwind posted a net loss of $25.3m, or $0.28 per share, in 2008. That compared with a net loss of $3.4m, or $0.07 per share, in 2007.
Still, highlighting growth in its overall business, Broadwind said the increase in revenues resulted from a combination of the costly acquisitions and strong organic growth at its wind tower manufacturing business and wind gear production facilities.
