Eletrosul hired Swiss bank Credit Suisse Group as advisor to the sale that could include around 1GW of wind assets it controls and another 400MW in which it is a partner, Reuters reported citing two unnamed sources.
Eletrosul has been a leading investors in wind power and developed many projects in Brazil's southernmost state of Rio Grande do Sul. It has also started to invest in solar power.
