The hook-up of about 1.4GW of 2010 projects will be delayed by between three and 18 months from their start-up dates because Chesf is late in building transmission and connection points, called ICGs.
The ICGs were planned by the government and tendered off to Chesf following the country’s 2009 and 2010 power auctions.
The connections for the 2010 tender winners were due to be in place by September 2013.
