With 21 wind farms representing an installed capacity of 492MW, the company was the biggest single winner in the wind sector. A total of 44 farms representing 1GW won contracts in the A-3 round. Several of Eletrosul’s winning bids were below R$100/MWh ($63), making it among the most competitive of contenders.
Eletrosul partnered with Rio Bravo Investimentos and the Fundação Eletrosul de Previdência e Assistência Social pension fund in bidding for contracts with the various projects.
