Once again, wind power developers registered the biggest number of projects compared to other technologies.
In terms of capacity, wind accounted for 58% of the total of 29.3GW and 693 of the 802 projects registered. Among them, large and small hydro, biomass and other fossil-fuel fired projects were also registered.
With a price cap of R$223/MWh ($62.68/MWh), the projects will have to start operating in early 2021.
