The company's CEO Mathias Becker said the countries being considered are Chile, Uruguay and Mexico.
“We're making initial studies, and we have to learn a lot about how things are done in other markets,” he said at the Brazil Windpower event in Rio de Janeiro.
One of the lessons that Becker thinks Brazilian companies will be able to learn from other countries in the region is how to bring new sources of financing from abroad, especially as Brazilian developers rely almost 100% on the National Development Bank (BNDES).
