The projects successful at the auction for 20-year power purchase agreements will need to be in commercial operation by 1 November 2018.
Brazil on Monday scheduled 14 August for its first reserve auction – and the first for solar exclusively.
The 13 November auction will be the third to include wind in 2015. Brazil will hold an Alternative Energy Source (LFA) auction in April and an A-3 auction in July.
