The new JV company, Offshore Structures (Britain), will acquire the 15,000 sq metre former TAG Energy Solutions site on Teesside, using existing facilities to enable a rapid ramp-up to full operations.
They will invest up to £30m ($47m) upgrading the site, but added: “The size and timing of the investment will depend primarily on the growth of the UK offshore wind market”.
