Markus Rieck, managing director for commercial operations and sales at GE Renewable Energy, talks about the company's offshore wind ambitions in China and other Asian markets.

GE also hopes to enter the UK offshore market, and emphasises the importance of a local offshore supply chain and services.

Rieck worked for Alstom for nearly eight years -- in onshore and offshore wind, as well as the French conglomerate's thermal, hydro, biomass and EPC businesses.
