CADER welcomed the plan to reach an 8% share of clean power in 2017 and 20% by the middle of the next decade, but is requesting modifications it said would “contribute to the solid and sustainable development of the power sector”.
Among the main proposals are regular tenders for distribution companies to buy renewable power in the same proportion as mandated by large consumers under the revised law.
