The wind farm will bebuilt as a public-private partnership in the municipality of Tômbwa in thesouthern province of Namibe and cost more than 17 billion kwanzas ($177.1m),says state news agency Angola Press.
Construction is dueto start at the end of this year, Angolan energy and water minister JoãoBaptista Borges is quoted as saying.
“This is anotheraction that aims at improving the energy supply of the country, in particularof the centre and southern regions,” Borges said.
