After Nordex's announcement that it will buy Spanish peer Acciona Windpower, and consolidating-market chatter about an imminent merger of Siemens and Gamesa, Senvion today announced that its owner Centerbridge will float a minority stake in it.
While that doesn't make Senvion bigger (like Nordex or Siemens Wind), the move will increase its capability to expand beyond the 20 countries it already operates in.
