Dubbed Sea Reed, the project, which has received €6m ($7.6m) backing from the environment and energy agency Ademe, will see naval contractor DCNS carry out studies on the behaviour, sizing, industrialisation and installation of a three-column semisub foundation, with Alstom in charge of adapting and integrating the Haliade with the floating system.
