The Manila-based institution will provide up to $55m to CWF, which is 90% owned by Bangkok-based independent power producer Egco The ADB will also provide an additional $30m from its Clean Technology Fund.
The project — to be built in Chaiyaphum province, roughly 300km northeast of Bangkok — will be finished by December 2016.
A number of companies plan to install turbines in Chaiyaphum province.
