ADB says the money will be used to finance high-voltage transmission lines and sub-stations to be constructed by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam.
The loans form the first tranche of the $500m Rajasthan Renewable Energy Transmission Investment Programme, approved by the ADB in 2013.
Counterpart financing of about $127m will be provided by the state government to cover the balance of the costs of activities carried out under the first tranche.
