Acciona starts up first Polish wind project, unveils second

Acciona commissioned the 38MW Golice wind farm in western Poland after installing 19 2MW turbines.

The Spanish group is the sole owner of the project, which cost about €57m ($74m) and was funded with the help of the EU’s Cohesion Fund.

Next year Acciona will start work on another Polish project at Gostyn, also in the west of the country, where it will install 33MW of wind capacity.
