The PS unit was back in profitability in the second quarter of 2015 after showing a loss at the same stage last year, said ABB.
The group started taking action to improve PS’s performance in late 2013, after problems emerged relating to large solar EPC and offshore wind transmission projects.
ABB said today it will continue measures to return the division to “higher and more consistent profitability”.
