Adwen — Gamesa’s 50/50 joint venture with French energy giant Areva — vowed from its inception earlier this year to take 20% of the European offshore wind market by 2020. However, it also has its sights set on other global markets.
The nascent Chinese offshore market is crying out for European expertise, and Adwen hopes to be one of the providers.
