Chuanwei Zhang has tabled an offer of $2.51 for each Ming Yang share, against a Friday closing price of $2.22 on the New York Stock Exchange.
Zhang – who founded Ming Yang in 2006 – plans to fund the transaction via a combination of debt and equity finance, including from third parties and “certain shareholders” of the company, said a statement from the OEM.
