New methods and tools developed by VTT have been shown to help in lessening the interference to digital signals caused by the rotation of the wind turbine blades.
"The placement of wind turbines can have a major impact on the quality of digital connections across a wide area," says principal scientist Seppo Horsmanheimo.
"A rotor generates a dynamic force which depends on the direction and speed of the wind.
