NWEA says onshore wind capacity increased by an additional 406MW last year, while offshore capacity grew by 129MW thanks to the commissioning of the Luchterduinen project.
By the end of 2015 total capacity stood at 3.38GW, compared to 2.84GW at the beginning of the year.
