The Italian group’s Enel Green Power North America unit sold to GE 24% of the 235MW Chisholm View wind farm in Oklahoma and the same share of the 200MW Prairie Rose project in Minnesota. The stakes were acquired by GE Energy Financial Services, which now owns 49% of each wind farm.
Once the deal had closed, EGP and GE both transferred their entire stakes in Chisholm View and Prairie Rose to EGPNA Renewable Energy Partners – the yieldco-like “strategic financial partnership” the two companies announced in North America in March 2015.
