Group unit Tata Power Renewable Energy’s (TPREL) revenue soared 43% to roughly 500m rupees.
TPREL is now building 50MW of wind capacity at an undisclosed location, with 100MW under contract.
The board of India’s largest integrated power company recently agreed to restructure the group’s wind, solar and waste/heat recovery assets into TPREL, which is a wholly owned subsidiary.
TPREL will pick up a range of assets from the group, including 376.5MW
