Vineyard Wind has submitted four bids ranging from 408MW to 1.2GW for offshore wind energy to the US state of Connecticut, joining two other European-led groups looking to win multi-year supply contracts.

Vineyard – owned 50% each by Iberdrola’s Avangrid and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners – is calling the set of proposals “Park City Wind.” They comprise a required 400MW plan and options to develop projects with 800MW, 1GW and 1.2GW
