The Brazilian unit of EDP Renováveis (EDPR) has signed a 20-year corporate PPA relating to two wind projects totaling 126MW it will start operating in northeastern Brazil from 2022.
The 46.2MW Monte Verde VI and the 80MW Boqueirão I will be built in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil’s leading wind power district.
The name of the off-taker was not disclosed by EDPR, in which China Three Gorges (CTG) has a stake.
