Brazil’s federal power company Eletrobras will this year restart the sale of stakes in wind farms totalling 664MW, as it continues to reduce its presence in the country’s power market in order to control its finances.
The announcement came eight months after the company sold part of its wind assets in a process that saw the majority left on the shelf, leaving the company to decide whether to try again.
