Norwegian energy group Equinor claims a lack of “land availability” for offshore and onshore wind projects is slowing deployment across Europe.
Irene Rummelhoff, an Equinor executive who until recently headed its New Energy Solutions unit, said the UK and Netherlands are examples of markets where more opportunities are needed – despite the ambitious offshore wind programmes underway in both nations.
