German wind OEM Nordex Group has won a 300MW turnkey order for the Mulanur project in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu from Sprng Energy, the Indian subsidiary of renewable private equity fund Actis.
Nordex is slated to supply and commission 100 of its Acciona Windpower brand AW140/3000 turbines with a 3MW rating, rotor diameters of 140 metres and hub heights of 120 metres.
